Thank you for your interest in Bandung Independent School. At BIS, we are proud to have a phenomenal group of skilled and knowledgeable educators from around the globe, serving our 200 students from EC1 to Grade 12 (ages 3-18). BIS teachers are dedicated, contributing to learning both in the classroom and through our extensive extracurricular program. They are caring, risk-takers, and lifelong learners.

As an IB world school, we aim to hire faculty with previous experience in the PYP, MYP, or DP programmes. However, we are open to employing inspiring educators who may not yet have experience in these programmes, but still reflect the ideals of an inquiry approach, student agency, and real-world connections in their learning and teaching practices. BIS is a fantastic school composed of professional, caring, and supportive teachers.

Bandung offers many opportunities for travel in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. We also offer amazing professional growth opportunities as teachers participate in regional workshops, our annual EARCOS weekend workshops, and ample collaborative learning opportunities with colleagues.
